Opera Mini 5 and vBulletin 4 issues

I use Opera Mini 5 in Mobile View extensively on a vBulletin site I manage. We're in the testing stages of upgrading from vBulletin 3 to vBulletin 4 (specifically v4.03). I'm running Opera Mini v5.0.19692 on a Blackberry Storm 9550 w/ OS v5.0.0.607.

I've had two issues come up when using mobile view.

One I reported and Serola helped explain when I first looked into vBulletin 4 beta. Six months later, it's still there, still adding a lot more visual clutter and requiring a lot more scrolling to navigate a list of threads. It works in page view, so there's code somewhere to fix it.

My other problem is that when I visit a thread, there are some icons on each post below the message text (see circled icons on the attached picture) which seem to vanish from Opera Mini in mobile view. Left to right, these icons (1) show the IP address of the poster, (2) add an infraction or warning, and (3) allow for reporting the post. Moderators and Admins should see the first two. Everyone should see the third. No one sees any of them in Opera Mini 5.

On vB's site, if you're logged in you can see examples of both the Thread List clutter and (for their site) the Reputation and Report icons.

These icons also exist in vB3, but in the same bar that has the date and time stamp above the message text. These similar vB 3 icons are rendered correctly in Opera Mini 5 using mobile view.

Does anyone have any insight on these issues? vBulletin is a major player in board software. I can't manage my board without those icons.
