choose a number of tabs per line (opéra10.53)

Hello, All in the subject :

Is it possible to fix the numbers of tabs per line ? Before, i was on 9.64, it wasn't possible.

i try on my new install, but i can't have more than 4 tabs / lines ? Is there an option in the config i haven't seen ? Or is it simply not possible ?

Or is it possible to define the max / min size of a tab, which, i think, can act on the numbers of Tabs ?

Ps : i apologize for my english wink

Thanks,

DOT

PS : i've read that is possible via modifying skins. But this is not as easy as modifying a param in config.

Close Opera.

Look in the .zip for the skin, find skin.ini and copy to outside the zip (it's easier to find if the files are sorted by extension).
Open the copy of skin.ini and near the top should be something like:

[Options]
Large Images = 0
Button Text Padding = 0
Pagebar min button width = 60
Pagebar max button width = 60

You need to edit the values for min and max button width. I've used 60 as I can have all of my usual sites (14) on 1 line (19" monitor, now wide-screen). Save the ini, close it and then copy it back into the skin's zip to overwrite the original one.
Don't overdo it - try something like 100 at first. There is another file that limits how small a tab can be, but I can't remember which one.

Open Opera and see if the size is suitable for you.
XP Pro SP3; 1GB RAM; Avast! AV; Comodo F/W; always the latest Opera!

yes, it's what i do. But it's not very easy for somebody who's not familiar with computer (it(s not only for me, i think that some people will need this tip, and editing skin.ini, for some of them, is not the easier way to do)

Thanks
