I'm a regular downloader of java games and ebooks *.jar files, so to be specific. And Opera mini does not allow direct download but rather call up in-built browser to do the installing- a well known fact.My problem is~ certain sites do not allow unregistered members to download.. And when i logged in - download link - phone browser.. I wasn't logged in in the phone browser! And to try to log in again in my crappy phone browser is useless due to non-working text boxes, damn google optimised pages..etc.
~ this does not happen with every java download sites..but few only. Eg. other sites, i prefer not to publicise.
My non-opera-using friend has told me this problem's not there with her browser.
However, i'm a strict operian.
any suggestion/solution/interpretation, friends?

Um you can do any of these..
1.contact site admin if you can
2.try sign in in your phone browser first
3.download from other site eg getjar
4.use other browser to download jar..oops sorry ignore this as you are strict operian..

This is not exactly a solution but you can note the download id of the .jar you want on mobiles24 and then go to http://wap.mobiles24.com and enter download id and download.
