opera forum problems
hellothere are some problems with opera forums:
1) when we click to create a new topic, and click on the 'message' field to start typing the body of the message, the cursor automatically goes to the 'title' field, which is annoying
2) when we type something in the 'title' field and we click TAB, the focus goes to SIZE, FONT, COLOR, etc drop down menus, what must be done is:
when in 'title' clicking TAB to go to 'message' field
when in 'message' clicking TAB to go to 'submit'
thanks

1. Doesn't happen for me.
2. That may make sense if you always use defaults, don't create polls, and don't preview the message. For people that want to set the font/size/color before typing the message, want to add a poll, or preview the message, they would have to tab all over the place.

1. Doesn't happen for me. Anyway the title should be typed first — you cannot post a thread without a title.
2. Agreed. Most people just want to type the message in the default font, so it should be next in the tab order after the Title field, but this is trivial unless you are unable to use a mouse or track pad.
3. When posting a reply, the focus should initially be in the message field to save clicking or tabbing.

Doesn't happen for me.
to see if it really happens or not, you need to put the cursor in the message field BEFORE the webpage loads completely
then, the cursor will be automatically placed in the title field, when the webpage fully loads

Sure... anyone can confirm it, it's a bit like taking a bite of a half-cooked pizza, and then when it finishes cooking, taking another bite, then complaining that the second bite was more cooked than the first.
Well... something like that anyways.
Almost all websites "reset" in some way once they have finished loading, because it's not until the HTML has finished loading that the scripting/settings/etc start. So having it reset the focus to the title box... is no surprise.
Other browsers may keep a variable for what's selected, and then use that after the page has completed loading, but the argument goes both ways, someone will always complain "it keeps focus" or "it doesn't keep focus"...etc.
Websites always have a default element that has focus, it can be set manually, or if nothing is set, then it simply uses the first focusable element.
