Hello Garion, Hello @all,

thank you for the link but it doesn't work. I Have installed the browser (in fact i have tried both versions from the folder) but gears.google.com told me that "ma browser is not supported". I have installed google gears for opera mobile manually but google gears ist still not working.

Is it the right build? Google gears system requirements are Opera Mobile 9.51 (Presto build 2.1.0 +)on windows mobile 6 touchscreen. I have windows mobile 6 professional running on a Asus P750. The phone has a TFT resistive touchscreen.

Do you have any ideas where to find the correct version or what else could be the reason why gears is not working.

Kind regards

I'm sorry to hear that sad That's the version incorporating Google Gears, and I seem to remember it worked for me with no additional installs required, but it was a while ago now and I no longer have that version. Hope someone else will be able to provide some guidance.

I was able to successfully install Gears on my Motorola MC75A device which has Windows Mobile 6.5 after downloading and installing the "opera_v9.5beta2_gears.cab" file from the Opera FTP site above, then I started the Opera 9.5 Beta browser, pointed it at gears.google.com and installed Gears. After doing all of that my Gears-enabled web app is working.

Thanks, mbonness. You've been right - it works.

Googled "opera_v9.5beta2_gears.cab", installed, installed Gears, and it seems to work.

Thank's for the support. Windows Mobile 6.5 is a pain in the a-double-s.
