[10.54 b3390] URIs don't work with Shift+Click or Ctrl+Shift+Click
Hi,I just reported this as DSK-300218:
Summary: URIs don't work with Shift+Click or Ctrl+Shift+Click
This is the information you submitted to us:
Version: 10.54
Build: 3390
Operating system: Windows 7
Platform: PC
Steps to reproduce
===================
1. Have an HTML page with URI links handy. (
resolves to \\hostname\path\ on Windows.)
2. Shift+Mouse Click on such a link (alternatively Ctrl+Shift+Mouse Click).
Expected result
===============
Content of URI opens in new tab (or new background tab).
Actual result
=============
New empty tab (or empty background tab) opens.
Note that just clicking on the link works, as does Right-Click -> Open in
New/Background Tab. Only the key+click combo does not.

Confirmed with 3390 on XP SP3.
Anything <a href="opera:drives">here</a> or anything on my own local pages work if opened with Opera directly... but those same pages opened via FTP or HTTP just open blank tabs for links, I suppose it could be intentional, as a security precaution. Some files if they are opened even without any parameters, might cause the user havoc, but I suppose a better method would be to alert the user that a local file is about to be opened, rather than just do nothing at all.
