Opera will not start
Ok.I have quite a clean machine, fresh install last week and Opera has been fine until today. Login, click Opera. Close Opera. Open Opera again a few minutes later, "Cannot start Opera. Another instance of Opera is still in the process of shutting down. Please wait etc"
Tried:
Closing the Process. Won't close (This is the first app EVER to ignore End process)
Tried to close with Process explorer. Won't close.
Restart machine. Same happens.
Uninstalled, erased install folder (Would be nice if Opera did that for you
Re-installed to a different path
Nope
Run in WInXP compatibility mode, ran once. Same again.
The only other option would be to go back to Internet Explorer as that never causes any problems (I've only just decided to move over to Opera. Shame)
I did a search for "Cannot start Opera" and "Another instance of Opera is still in the process of"
