Opera Link - sequence of actions
Say I have some bookmarks/notes on one Opera and many bookmarks/notes on a second one. Now, when I enable sychronization on the second Opera, synchronize and then enable Link on the first- what will hapen? Will all the items be wiped to force the state of the first Opera, or will the first Opera read/merge items it doesn't have?
TIA
F1 is your friend. Opera Link
Due to Murphy's Law, it will probably do what you least expect, so backup your vital data using the free utility in my sig. Opera link is not intended as a substitute for backup, and many users have come to grief by using it in the wrong way.
Personally, I prefer to disable it and use it only occasionally after a new installation to transfer my data to the new installation
