How to keep sites from hding my toolbars...

I find that some sites I visit hide some of my toolbars (often the Address and/or View bar). I can get them back by using View\Toolbars\Customize, but I consider what the sites do as an invasion of my rights. I would like to prevent sites from messing with my toolbars.

Anybody know of a way to do this?

Try right click, Copy Address, and paste the address into the address bar of a new tab. It worked on one sports score site, but it's down for the season, so I can't send you there for a test.

Thanks, Pesala. Frankly, it never occurred to me it was a "site problem", but I guess it is. I was hoping for a more generic solution, that would be implemented in Opera, and apply to all sites I visit: "Do not mess with my toolbars"!!

Thanks, JakdaleFTL for your response. I assume you meant Preferences/Advanced/Content/Manage Site Preferences? What I see there is a check box to protect my Address Bar, but no others. Am I in the right place?

LonesomeBullet. Thanks for your response. I have not tried this, but it seems it is no better than the solution I already have for this problem, which is View/Toolbars/Customize, and turn on the toolbars that were turned off. As I mentioned above to Pesala, I was hoping for something that would work across all sites, without my having to deal with each one as I come to it.

Great, Pesala, thanks. At least that covers the Address Bar, if not any of the others.

Well, do you need "status bar" as well (same options) ?
Without example url it's hard to be sure what is happening.
