cannot access password protected sites using Opera 10+
I have been using opera as my default browser for about two years and it was great. I upgraded to the latest version about 3 months ago I think it was 10.6. Anyway I discovered I could not access any of my password protected sites using it. I would type in the username and password and nothing would happen. It happened with all my sites -Bank - Business Suppliers - etc. I was forced to use Internet explorer. Eventually I removed the latest version and reloaded the original 9.6 version which works OK. Can anyone explain this and give me a solution. I really love my Opera and would like to be able to use the latest version. I am using Windows XP.Odd, I don't have that problem. Also using Windows XP and the latest version of Opera. I can get into my banking site, these forums, my work e-mail, GMail, Facebook... The only site I can't access with Opera is Hyves.nl, because they actively deny access to Opera users. Really, the nerve of some people.
