Problems with OM5 final. Request OM5 beta2?
Ok guys, I'm using a blackberry 8130 pearl OS 4.5. I'm having a LOT of problems with opera 5 final. Its such a pain in the ass! It completely stops responding to the track ball at least once a day usually 2 or 3 times a day, each time it does that it requires I do a battery pull reset just to get opera mini to restart and start responding again. The mouse cursor is VERY laggy and the downloads don't make it very far before it says "download error" Another bug I found is since I got the "silent" update for it, any websites, for example fanfiction.net, which have many different links on a page under a + won't show up properly. It'll only show up to the pages bottom. It effectively ended my use of that website and any other websites that have many links under the +. Hope that made some sort of sense. Sometimes opera mini 5 also completely freezes up, going to a blank white screen with nothing at all responding, not even the menu.I know many of those issues are known for blackberrys, but I wanted to point them out. That last one which I believe hasn't been reported before. (Correct me if I'm wrong) I've since downloaded opera mini 4 to use instead and Its MUCH less buggy than 5. I've pretty much given up on opera 5 for the time being. Hoping for an update soon that will address these issues. I like OM4 but the lack of copy/paste functionality, password and username saving, and the lack of a mouse cursor in mobile view are things I miss from OM5.
I remember OM5 beta 2 was fairly stable with less of the annoying bugs found in the final, at least it was on my old Rumour 2. Should be the same for my BB hopefully. Is there anywhere I can still download OM beta 2? I googled it but couldn't find anything.
