Home page as Speed Dial
I'm sure for many of us speed dial has become something like second desktop, and there's probably a lot of requests to make it more customizable.So it would be cool to have an option to display home page instead of speed dial. This brings unlimited customization and takes advantage of opera being a browser.
Actually, for some time i've been using a macro ( Open URL in new background page,"http://192.168.0.3/home/" & Delay,150 & Switch to next page & Focus address field & Delete ) instead of "New page" command in various places to imitate this feature. But that's ugly.
The only concern is loading times. Even tho it's minimal for text content, still there's like 100-150ms before wallpaper image is rendered and empty white background "blinks" (very annoying for eyes, hence such a macro ).
