Uhmmm, I think what he was trying to say was, Opera Mobile and Opera Mini should support rtsp streaming through the browser itself.

I think that is possible, I have seen it with a java browser named as "Bolt Browser" in which it uses its server to make a video available for streaming without the help for a flash plugin. I just hope that Opera will adopt this feature.

If this feature will be implemented after a certain period of time will appear most likely a moded version where streaming will work for some providers who don't allow this via phone browser and btw bolty guys maded that possible for advertising reasons and its clear that this kind of stuff is extra.

This feature maybe an extra but it will be very useful I suppose.

Jex125 explained what i want to say. Thanks. Yes, bolt can play videos but for some limited sites like youtube.com, video.google.com and with the bolt the problem is Screen resolution, it's too small; can't watch video freely. Thats why i and everybody wants this facture in opera mini.

Maybe it will be updated to flash lite 3.0 via a software update.
Try updating your phone's software.
If that doesnt work,i guess only solution is to use bolt.

This is horrible. Opera Mini is better than the native Android browser, but when I want to watch a video...

"The protocol used in waplinkrtsp://wdigespmms.qtod.llnwd.... is not supported." Why won't it just open my native browser in this case?

Surely there MUST be a way to play videos on Mini, right? This seems inexcusable. For all the data compression and speed that Opera Mini offers, this is at the great expense of not being able to enjoy the entire web... you know, with videos and such.

I wish OM will allow user to select how rtsp are forwarded. Some phones can handled rtsp forwarding but my feature phone can't. The video needs to be started by the built-in browser and it only handles http link forwarding, though once inside the browser can do rtsp just fine.

That is why I still need 4.1 around and does not matter how many times I am prompted to update? I won't.
