CSS working fine in Firefox 3.6.3 but not in Opera 10.05 (but apparently supported)
Hi all,This is my first post here so please go easy on me.

I'm trying out Opera right now and REALLY liking it so far - no need to go into the reasons why on the Opera forums I guess!
Anyway, I went through a tutorial on how to make lavalamp-style menus using CSS3 and jQuery (http://net.tutsplus.com/tutorials/html-css-techniques/how-to-build-a-lava-lamp-style-navigation-menu/) but can't get the gradients working in Opera 10.53.8343 on OS X.
The results of the tutorial are here: http://digitalformula.net/non-wp/lavalamp/
I've found some stuff on Google that it simply isn't supported but given Opera's awesome support for everything else I figure there must be a way to do it ... ?
Does anyone know how to make this work in Opera using just CSS? Is it possible?
Thanks!

CSS gradients don't work in Opera yet (they were only recently "invented"), but SVG gradient backgrounds and such have worked for years. It wouldn't be much more effort to add it than to work with the wildly diverging CSS syntax of Webkit and Gecko.

Thanks for the reply Frenzie - you've confirmed what I found on Google, too.
Oh well, I can survive without gradients for now!
