headers and their topics overlap

Yesssiireeeeee!!!!

When I go to Online Banking, I notice with great dismay, on the top right of the page, there is a header and subtopics are hiding or overlapping subjects on the left side of the screen.

Is there a way to overcome (fix) this. I've tried the smaller / larger font thingy - but nothing seems to do the trick. I'll appreciate help in overcoming this. Thanks!!!

Welcome to the Opera Forums.

How to post about problems with specific sites

Without a link to the site, I doubt if anyone can help.

Thank you Pesala for your kind reply. I'd send you a picture of the problem, but it's kind of sensitive data - especially since it's my Visa card statement. It's only one spot on that site that has one subject overlapping another, and that's the Visa. This problem does not repeat itself with IE or FF.

The Bank site is as follows ...

https://www1.royalbank.com/cgi-bin/rbaccess/rbunxcgi?F6=1&F7=IB&F21=IB&F22=IB&REQUEST=ClientSignin&LANGUAGE=ENGLISH

And unfortunately, up to this point, I cannot get it to repeat anywhere else. I wish I could explain it a bit better. A crude illustration might be as follows.

1234 5678
The 5 would be covering the 4 and consequently I cannot see the 4.
I remember this a long ways back happening with Opera and we overcame it somehow, but beats me how.

If this makes any sense, maybe you'll have something that will come to mind that will have me overcome this. Thank you again for your response.

Is fit to width enabled in Preferences, Web Pages? What OS are you using? Which Opera build? (Putting this basic info in your forum signature is a good idea.)

Man, you're fast on the draw Pesala. What I did was, uncheck the *Fit to Width* and that fixed the problem. It's nearly perfect, and I'll show you what I mean by "nearly" ...

Let's say I've a figure amount there of 2000.00 - before I unchecked the *Fit to Width* - the 2000.00 was covered over by the Header & its sub-headers underneath that. When I unchecked the *Fit to Width* - the 2000.00 is now visible, but how it shows is again as follows ...

2000.
00

Instead of the figure showing as 2000.00 it shows as illustrated above, so my saying "nearly perfect."

If you've got something extra to add, I'll appreciate your advice. Maybe this is close as I'll get to perfect and I'll be happy with that. But further instruction will always be welcomed. Thank you again Pesala.

(By the way, can one have it so when a response comes through, I can be notified by e-mail? I don't see that option here. I've clicked on the "Subscribe to this topic" but that do the trick)

See this thread in the feedback forum regarding email notification.

Preferences, Fonts, Minimum font size is the other thing to try — default is 9 pixels IIRC. Increasing it to make small fonts easier to read might cause problems on some sites. Increasing default zoom in Preferences, Web Pages might be a better solution.

I've tried the font size. That wouldn't do anything. Thanks for the help and also the pointer to e-mail notification.

Pesala - as you've noticed, that particular thread as to why we're not receiving email notification isn't solved. That was left up in the air and apparently the moderator(s) of this forum have gone to lunch. :-)
