Bug reporting interface for My Opera?

Is there any public interface that could be used to post bug reports about My Opera?

I have reported cleanly describd issues several times through the contact form, but this solution is very uncomfotable and I get the feling that noone is paying attention to any efforts I'd take.

Having a bug report interface similar to bugs.opera.com/wizard would bring much more sense on reporing My Opera bugs.

They don't want the bug reports public due to client issues. sad

There is no need the My Opera site bug reports to be public (they are no public for Opera browser too)

It would be just a place to submit reports, as bugs.opera.com/wizard is...

A forum could not play this role sad

bigsmile Yup, I admit "should not" is another way to put it, but is too weak bigsmile

I have reported bug with broken UTF characters beyond latin on the preview-blog and preview-post page when an image is included.
This bug still lives out there for 2+ years I believe...

The Edit forum post page contains bugs that were only partially fixed in the recent months, and Edit announcement still hosts some of the fixed bugs.

The Search forums feature does not work with Cyrillic search terms at all, and this continues for years too.

I believe the nature of these things indicate that the work lacks systematic approach either (or both) in bug reporting or bug fixing, i.e. the current system does not work well.

The reported threads here just fall lower and lower on the forum page until they get out of view, seemingly both for us and developers...

Hey,

we’re trying to monitor the forum for bug reports and feedback, but during busy times this could unfortunately get down-prioritized in order to be able to focus fully on important deadlines and such. If you feel that your bug reports have been neglected, feel free to send me a PM here, and I’ll make sure to bring it to attention.

That said; I find the “feedback wizard” suggestion really intriguing. smile

Yup smile)
The effort of "monitoring the forum", the "busy times" handling and the need of PMing someone to deal with issues are not exactly an effective approach bigsmile

A BTS would fit much better and I guess it won't be that hard to have My Opera dedicated projects registered on bugs.opera.com p
Another suggestion: as My Opera is a site, it might be OK to have "report a problem on this page" links around My Opera pages that would lead to the bug reporting wizard with some fields prefilled-in p

Thanks for your suggestion, I will probably use it smile
