Leaving password manager makes Find-in-page search bar appear

I'm on Windows XP sp3, Opera 10.53 build 3374. Using Windows Native Skin, but this happens for me in the default skin as well.

Try this:

Press Ctrl+F12
Click the "Forms" tab
Click the "Password Manager..." button
Click "Close"
Click "OK"

Did the Find in page search bar appear in your browser?

Is it me or is it a bug?

Hmmm, yes, this had something to do with my install.

I backed up my Profile folder and did a clean re-install of Opera.

When I reinserted my entire Profile folder in the fresh install, the problem came back. But then I deleted that to let Opera recreate a new default Profile folder and the problem again went away.

I've since reinstalled a number of personal elements piece by piece (bookmarks, speed dial, wand passwords, etc.), recreated my UI to my liking and re-established certain keyboard shortcut setups, but haven't yet found the culprit. I might never find it, because I'm largely satisfied with the current setup, but if I should run across it all be sure to report back.

Anyhoo, thanks Mervyn and Luxor for checking on your side!

(P.S. However I do still have this problem.)

I suspect that it happens due to a custom toolbar setup from an earlier version.
