What does "ignore contact" do in news groups?
Hi,If I check "Ignore contact" for someone posting to a news group what does actually happen? I see they get a little red icon added in the message list, but the post is still there and they are not ignored according to my use of the term
Could someone explain how "ignore contact" works or is supposed to work?Ignored contacts have their messages automatically marked as read, do not show in auto-complete and have a red icon next to them.
There's no "View -> Show -> Show ignored" that you can uncheck for each message list. That'd be a good feature request though. If you want that, you'll have to create a filter for the contact and set "mark messages as filtered".
