A problem with multiple security certs on a page, and problems with lycos.com and citi.com

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share several problems I've been having with Opera, in the hope that someone can investigate and make note of them so that they are corrected in a future release.

Regarding the security cert issue... It only seems to be a problem when I run Opera 10.53 on Windows XP, Service Pack 3. I haven't had the cert issue while running 10.53 on Windows 7. I have Opera set up so that it requests confirmation for every cert. I know I don't have to do this, but I hate the idea of "google analytics" and various advertisement and web-tracking systems knowing where I go. I therefore tell Opera to let me know of any secure connections being attempted, so I can refuse all of the marketing connections and other crap.

Anyway, on some sites, multiple cert notifications will appear very quickly, one after the other. They layer up over each other, and in the last couple versions of Opera (10.5X), I can only confirm or deny the most recent cert notification. The one beneath it is ghosted out, and clicking on it doesn't do anything. I have to switch to another tab, then back to the tab with all the certs, and the next cert requester is then accessible. I have to repeat this procedure several times, for each cert that is piled up, before I can clear them all. As is imaginable, the above procedure is highly irritating when there are large numbers of certs. This has never been a problem before. In the past, I could just click through all of the cert requesters, confirming or denying each one without having to change tabs or do anything else.

Mail.lycos.com is now impossible to use in Opera 10.53 under either XP or Windows 7. The mail.lycos.com site will load, but then I can't actually do anything. I can't access my inbox, or the other mail folders.

https://www.citicards.com/cards/wv/home.do also doesn't work. The webpage will load, but when I click in the User ID and Password boxes on the left hand side of the page, I can't enter any text.

I just wanted to mention these things so that they can be improved and / or fixed. I have been using Opera for a long time, and in general I am very happy with the program. I have a lot of respect for the developers, and though I'm not much of a programmer, I know enough to realize that a modern browser is no easy feat to create. I expect problems to come up from time to time, and I hope that in posting this I can help them target a couple more bugs and squash them.

Thanks for listening.

Quick addition:

I did actually see the security cert issue in Windows 7 just now. It seems to be somewhat less frequent, but it is still there.
