Simplify the tab tooltips!
If you hover the mouse pointer over a tab, and tab thumbnails are disabled, a tooltip is shown consisting of four rows of text: The title of the page, the URL, the character encoding and the MIME type. It has been like this since forever, but the other day I noticed it and wondered; why is the encoding and the MIME type included, is this information really necessary? I certainly understand that there are times when you might need this info, but that's what the info panel is for. I think the tooltip only should include the title and the URL, the rest is just unnecessary and unfriendly clutter.minor? these things are bulky, have tons of padding and a drop shadow, can we have an option to turn them off?
To be fair, if you've turned off the 'Use Thumbnails in Tab Tooltips' setting, the tooltips nowadays only contains the page title, which is fine by me.
But I agree, they really are clunky and often get in the way. I'd still like the option of regular, native looking tooltips that look and behave like all other tooltips.
