Text selection disappears on right click when selection spans multiple elements

I've noticed that if you select text that spans multiple HTML elements, then right click to bring up the context menu, and you right click in an element that does not contain the end of the selection, the text immediately becomes unselected and the wrong context menu appears.

I've set up a demo page here which explains this a little better (and with pictures!)

I first noticed this in 10.60 (build 3400) on Windows 7 Pro (64 bit). I don't know if this happens in 10.5x. Can anyone else reproduce this?

Known issue (to Opera Software) in 10.6.

I had similar problems some time ago. Now I see the issue is a bit different - clicking twice on 'com' selects it, but the third click either selects the whole sentence or deselects 'com'. The whole text is in one element, but I think these two issues are somehow related.
