Personal bar funtionality in sidebar

Hello world.

There is a lot of unused space in my sidebar (panels bar). To save browsing real estate, is it possible to move my personal bar bookmarks (as favicons only) into the sidebar? I would like to be able to click on a bookmark that's directly in the sidebar, and not have it open in a panel window, but rather the main browsing window. It would eliminate the extra step of expanding the bookmarks panel. I use some panels on the sidebar, so currently I have both the sidebar and the personal bar shown, with plenty of extra space in each bar. Would like to just merge the two.

Using Windows 7 and Opera 10.53.

Just a thought. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

If you haven't removed the little + at the end of the panel list, you can just drag the bookmarks from the personal bar and hold shift to add them to this little area. (They won't be centered on the bar unless you remove the + afterwards.)

If you have removed the +, open up the Appearance dialog and drag a link from the personal bar near the last panel and you will see a smaller box area appear, drop the bookmark there.

Note: If you were using Opera Link to sync your personal bar, just know that this new area is not capable of being synced.
