Opera constantly becoming front-most or next-to-frontmost.

I have Opera 10.53 on a Mac running Snow Leopard (10.6.3).

While Opera is not the frontmost application, if my mouse drifts over its tab bar it will bring itself forward as the frontmost application. Or, more often, it will become the 'next-to-frontmost' window.

Is this behavior adjustable? I love Opera but because it keeps interrupting my work I'm having to forego it.

Probably better to ask in the Opera for Mac forum. Is there a minimize option on the Mac?
