Is there any way to disable the forced login for the wand?
Whenever i used the wand it would always log in that account right after i choose a specific username(if available). In older versions of opera this feature wasn't there. It was fine before, now i don't like it because there are sites that require captcha and obviously it changes here and there all the time. Not only that, if i do try to log in a site with captcha, it will give me an error/wrong password and some sites actually do send me an annoying warning message saying something like "someone tried to hack/log in your account.."I'm not even done yet, because of this, it actually makes the wand feature virtually useless because after i log in and if unsuccessful due to the captcha error, when i click back, i will see my username and the WRONG captcha BUT my password is not even there(and i fully understand why though). So bascially the wand just inserts my username with the hassle of clicking back and i have to insert the password myself. This is not exactly the best feature now is it?
Btw, i am using opera 10.10. I refuse to upgrade because i have already tried 10.52 and it took up twice the amount of ram, slows down my computer, and made many sites slower. I have real proof of that because ever since i downgraded it the slow down completed stopped.
Check out <a href="opera:config#Wand Autosubmit">this</a> option... you could use a button to toggle that option: <a href="opera:/button/Set%20preference,%22User%20Prefs%7CWand%20Autosubmit=1%22,,%22Wand%20Autosubmit%22,%22Checkbox%20Skin%22%20%7C%20Set%20preference,%22User%20Prefs%7CWand%20Autosubmit=0%22">Wand Autosubmit</a>
As for your second part... you didn't like 10.52... so... you also didn't try 10.53, 10.54, or <a href="http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/blog/show.dml/12174132">10.6</a> (<- that one has a significant reduction in memory use)

Thanks for helping me. I unchecked the auto submit and it worked!
As for the new versions, i'm sorry.. i rather not take the risk and waste my time. Look, i've been an opera user for over 10 years and i use opera as my browser over 90% of the time. I use firefox as a back up. But ever since the update and the memory usage, i was quite disappointed. For opera's sake, it's just a browser. You really don't need ultra fancy features taking up unnecesary memory up. Because the new version may or may not have new features and because it's taking up so much ram, i am not using that version, or any other new version UNLESS opera say it themselves in big bold letters in their front page:
"NEW OPERA VERSION, NOW USES UP LESS RAM! "
And in small lettering, probably apologizing for previous version taking up too much ram and slowing down computers with slow processors.
But thank you for helping me with the wand feature.

For me, Opera was never using quite that much, but it was fairly consistently using 250MB (in recent versions), in this latest it hasn't gone past 180MB yet, and is normally hovering around 120MB... which is only about 15MB more than 10.1 uses normally, which is a good trade-off in my opinion because its quite noticeably faster.
Likewise, I've been using Opera since 3.51... for whatever that may be worth to back-up my "opinion" or something...lol
