Not thumbnail preview for shared Youtube links (Facebook)

And yes, I leave "No Thumbnail" unchecked.

Anybody else experiencing this with the latest build?

Works for me... although at times, YouTube and Fb seem to have issues communicating with each other, and so I don't always get the thumbnail on the first try -- with any browser.

It doesn't work if you reload Facebook and try again? Ever?

Edit: Do you see the thumbnail while posting it (before hitting the Share button)? And then it doesn't display on in the Feed post?

Won't work no matter how many times I reload Facebook, feeds, etc. The people who frequent my page can confirm.

Just for the record, Opera will display the thumbnails for links shared with IE, however, neither browser will be able to display the thumbnails if the links were shared with Opera.

Absolute shame. Literally the second most popular web site on the whole internet and this is still broken in 11.

it is facebook connect - opera problem. i cant use many sites with opera because i cant login using facebook.

I can confirm this irritating issue on opera 11 - linux.
Works fine with other browsers.

i found workaround, click on video, expand it or anything like that, and voila it works.

No, doesn't work. Build 1156... This is the most annoying issue I have with Opera. If they could just fix this... Come on guys, if Firefox, IE, Chrome, and Safari are all able to do this why can't you??

I'm SO glad I'm not the only one that is annoyed by this issue. I love everything about Opera 11 except for this bug and the fact I cannot get iTunes links to open in iTunes no matter what I try.

The iTunes issue still isn't as annoying as this thumbnail thing though.

EDIT: Just posted 3 YouTube videos on Facebook, 1 of the 3 thumbnails worked. That's even more annoying.

Agreed. Opera, please fix this. We're practically begging you to provide a solution so we could use your browser!

I seem to have found a fix that it at least working for me. Instead of sharing the video directly from YouTube, do this;

1. Copy the direct link from the 'Share' section on YouTube.
2. Open Facebook and where it says "Status, Photo, Link, Video", select link.
3. Paste the YouTube link in the address box, write whatever you want in the other little box then post and HAZZARRR!! YouTube thumbnails will show.

2011.. the age of iPhones and internet built into fridges and 3DTVs and these are the lengths Opera 11 users have to go to for an f'ing thumbnail to show on Facebook.

Fix it Opera.

i does work to me. youst click share 2 times, first time it wont work, it wont show thumbnail. close windows. and share again. it works fine.

i just enabled "Convert YouTube Videos to MP3" extension and it worked. thumbnails are here. there is a problem with some extensions. i think with some downloader from YT.
