Filter Question - New Unread Today Only
There have been two really outstanding posts, which have gotten me straight on filters and I have been able to set up a half dozen that work exactly how I wanted. But, can you set up a filter that will display all unread emails for today, or display all unread emails for the last 7 days, add label important if from contains ... ? I have not been able to find anything in the archives. Apologies, if I have missed something. Thanks in advance. Really appreciate the existing posts and their great help.Kevin

No. Filters don't support actions.

In Unread, goto View -> period and set it to "today" or "week" and get used to toggling it to what you want. You may be able to create a custom button to make this faster, but not sure.
As for a filter rule that does that, I don't think you can.
