Opera Is Broken: Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail, AOL
Opera had a problem starting with version 10.52 with Gmail. All the text is pushed to the far right side of the screen and cannot be read. It is usesless for the Gmail website.Now the same problem is ocurring in Yahoo email. The only difference is the text is pushed to the opposite side of the screen, to the left.
Also Hotmail does not work. There is nothing on th screen at all.
In AOL the forward and reply screens pop up but do not populate. It stays in constant update mode.
Without access to online email Opera's usefulness is dramatically reduced. I had to switch to FireFox because of the problems with Gmail in 10.52. I had hopes for 10.53 but now it appears the email problem is worse. Come on guys, you released the new draw engine too early. Suggest you go back to the old engine until you work out the bugs. These are not minor issues, they are show stoppers.
But I don't have any problem with Gmail or Yahoo mail. So it's not useless is it? Try looking for a solution rather than trolling.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, Opera is not useless with those sites. But neither is it perfect. There is an occasional glitch, for instance, in which Gmail just won't load....so I reload and it works fine. And there's an occasional issue where Hotmail does something weird, but again, a refresh will usually correct it. So I think the truth is somewhere in the middle: Those sites are experiencing some little quirks now and then, but they're usually not insurmountable. Even better, Hotmail and Gmail you can link to the Opera email client and read and write email there.
