Downloaded a Skin and something strange happened
I just downloaded a skin from Opera's website and then went to click on forums and a page came up and said You cannot get this page from the People's Republic of China. If you are viewing this from another Country contact us. Well, I am in Canada, not China and I tried to contact Opera, but haven't a clue how to do it, it just keeps sending me to different links. There must be some kind of virus or bug or something in the skin. Any ides anyone?I deleted the skin and was able to get into the forums without any problems after that.
I'm not exactly sure what skin it was, I downloaded 3 of them and how do you provide a link to a skin? Opera downloads the skin automatically when you click on download.
I guess I could go do it again and then find out which one it was.

If you don't know how to post a link then just give it's name as it won't be hard to find.
You can see all the skins here.

OK, I see now what happened. I Googled the following question: Where is my help button in Opera and when the Google page came up the fifth line down said My Opera - Opera Skins so I clicked on it and it appears that it took me to the Opera China website. I did not know that though as I did not look at the URL. Anyways, I was able to download and install the skin and obviously there is something in it that thinks you are in China. http://my.cn.opera.com/community/customize/skins/minimalist/
Thanks for the reply Luxor, you will see that the China Opera website looks just like the one you gave me a link for, so if you are not looking at the URL it is easy to get waylaid.
Interesting, just downloaded one and sure enough same message.
Maybe someone from Opera could explain why just downloading a skin from there triggers this message.

Any idea why a skin would generate the message that the OP reported sgunhouse?

That has nothing in common with the skin. You just can't visit forums on Chinese My Opera - try to visit http://my.cn.opera.com/community/forums/ with any browser (note .cn part in the address), and you will get the very same message
.So this is a problem with chinese domain, not a skin. I even downloaded it to make sure if its right.
