Google's new "Homepage Background Image" feature
Well, for whatever reason, they have disabled it for Opera, so if you really want it you'll have to "identify/mask as Firefox" (or IE, but that would probably make a bunch of IE-only hacks activate that would just break more things). Beware that this will then break their "help forums" (and possibly more, haven't really tested it much) which means you'll have to go back to "identify as Opera" there. There's probably a way to set it to only "identify/mask as Firefox" on the Google homepage and otherwise act normally, but I'm just too lazy to do that.
