Transformations mess up text rendering in (ubuntu) linux 64bit, 10.53 build 6330.

First of all, i'm not positive that this is in the right place, please move it if i'm in the wrong category.

When any of the css transform functions (scale, rotate, translate, etc) are applied to an element which contains text, the characters become much wider. They are not spaced out more, only the characters themselves become wider (causing the text to overlap itself.) I can't seem to find anyone else mentioning this issue, so i'm not positive it's not on my end either.

Here is a page I have written on my own computer
No transform

And here is the same page, but the forms have a transform of
-o-transform: scale(1);

Transform

So, should I file a bug report? The thing that's discouraging me from doing so is the prerequisite that I have to be using the latest version, and this is a beta version.
