Reduce the withe page effect - loading page
After clicking a link opera clears the browsing area and starts to download a page and displays it.But for a few seconds/milliseconds the user gets hit with a white page(bright light). It's especially unpleasant when you browse a dark page at night, the eyes are starting to get used to the subdued colors and while you want to go to a sub page BAM. After few hours working on a computer it really hurts the eyes.
Chrome/Firefox manged to reduce this effect almost to null(same domain). I think that it repaints the background only if needed.
You can try different browsers for example on
http://www.blender.org/features-gallery/features/ (navigate through the links) - best effect at night

Browsing the web should be a pleasant experience but with this effect it's not...
Reducing this effect will not only improve the comfort of browsing but also increase the impression off faster page loading.
