Opera 10.53 issues with Facebook
Hey, I've looked about everywhere, Bing, Google, Ask...and I still can't find a solution, so hopefully I can find it here.I'm using Opera 10.53 on Windows XP Pro.
Logging into Facebook is fine, faster than any other browser, but I have a few issues once on the site. For one, I'm unable to tag people in my status'. I've checked and made sure Java and Flash were installed properly onto my computer, and they are. So I'm not sure what could cause this. Secondly, whenever I have a chat window open with someone, the chat box keeps jumping to the top of the message, instead of showing me the current one. I'll scroll down to it, and as soon as I click to type, it jumps back to the top again.
Hopefully someone can help me fix this, or find a solution..
I much rather Opera over Chrome/Safari/IE/Firefox any day; I even have it installed on my droid
Yep, this issue with tagging is confirmed for me. It was only just recently though that this happened. Hopefully they will fix it as soon as possible. It worked before, so either it was Facebook API's that changed or the code they now utilize that Opera is unfamiliar with, or Opera just made a change somewhere and it has to be corrected.
