Menu Icon (top left)

I am running the 10.60 Alpha. May I make the suggestion that you remove the "Menu" text on the button? The button is fairly self explanatory and the text makes it look less refined. I liked how it was in 10.53 much better. Did really that many users complain that they couldn't find the menu button?

Over the years Windows lost its "Start" text on the start menu button, it is just more visually appealing.

Should the "Menu" text present in the 10.60 snapshot be removed like how it is in 10.53?

I tried searching the beta testing forum for this topic, sorry about that. I didn't think it would be in the wishlist, as this is technically beta feedback.

Regardless I think there is enough feedback at this point showing that they should remove the Menu text and keep it the way it was!

It is just my vision about how things should be.

If you don't like the "Menu" text, there is a quick fix. Find your language file ie: locale\en\en.lng. Search for 606160820="Menu" and change it to 606160820="". As always, don't do this until you have closed Opera.

This is plain ridiculous to do, that Menu button should just follow the settings of the toolbar it is on. (Text only/Images only/Images and text below/Images and text on right). Default would be Images and text on right, and anyone who wanted the text "Menu" off could change it via the Appearance dialog. Simple as that.
