Accessing email from two computers on a network
Let's assume I have two computers on a network. I'd like to be able to access my email from either of the computers. For example, for a while I work on one computer, sending and receiving email. Then I want to be able to move to the second computer and see all the saved messages I have sent and received.I am able to do want I want with Eudora (when working on the second computer, I click the Eudora Settings file that lives on the first computer), but that is a dead program and I'd like to get off of it. Apple's Mail can't do what I want. Can Opera?
Make sure opera:config#mail%20root%20directory is set to the same mail folder location for both Opera setups. You'll have to make sure both Opera's are not running at the same time though.
If your mail server was an IMAP server, it would just work and you'd just connect to the server in both Opera's and even do that at the same time.
