Opera 10.53 to use system network settings (proxy)
Hi... I'm in the process of moving over from Safari (which has finally annoyed me enough to take this step) to Opera on my Macbook (OSX 10.5.8). In the System Preferences -> Network configuration of OSX I have several "Locations" defined, some with a proxy server, some using a .pac file, and an automatic one without any proxy defined.Safari just uses the current system settings, nothing to define there. In Firefox I can check the option "use system settings" and everything is fine there as well. However, in Opera... well, it seems I have to set the proxy each and every time I change locations!? I haven't yet been to the location where I use the .pac file since I started using Opera, but I'm sure that's going to be fun too.
What's so difficult about a "use system settings" option in Opera? What am I missing? Thanks for any hints / pointers!
