pressing a "mailto"-link opens up my Gmail and new message
I've never enjoyed the offline mail clients and I have no problems (only pure pleasure actually) what-so-ever in using Gmail! So please, when I click a mail adress, I want Gmail to open up (and the best would be if it opens up a new message with the adress filled in!), I've tried everything and don't find a solution.
Hope I'm clear. Dont want to use operamail, thunderbird, yandex, fastmail, mail.ru or opera web mail. I want to use Gmail=)
As long as Opera has the option to open mailto links with a Web service, I agree that they should include the more commonly used ones, like Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.
However, in the mean time, you can get this functionality without doing it at the browser level. Just download the Google Notifier and it has an option to open mailto links in Gmail. You can then just leave Opera with the setting to open with the system default application and then you'll be all set.

Add Gmail to webmailproviders.ini:
http://operawiki.info/WebMailto
UserJS to do it for links *in a page*:
http://shadow2531.com/opera/userjs/BeforeMailtoURL.js
UserJS to do it for links in a page and in the address field (makes use of webmailproviders.ini):
http://shadow2531.com/opera/userjs/BeforeMailtoURL.zip
Only problem with the webmailproviders.ini solutions is that your changes get overwritten when you upgrade Opera.
To handle UserJS in Opera easier:
http://unite.opera.com/application/401/
But, yes, it'd be cool to have Gmail in webmailproviders.ini by default.
