Problem copying link text from World of Warcraft forums

So I play WoW and browse the official World of Warcraft forums occasionally. For safety and security concerns they won't allow you to create links, but you can still have the text. So I would highlight the text and use the "Go to web address" option (which I normally love), but that doesn't work. It seems to randomly insert characters that are interpreted as "%E2%80%8B" in the address bar. As a quick example here's a random post where someone linked some images. If you try to highlight the text and use the go to web address from the context menu it won't work. Even if you try straight copy and pasting it adds in these unknown characters.

Yes, I've seen this issue as well and thought I'd finally come here to see if anything has been said about it. Generally, small squares will be inserted in the links in random positions.

After reading a reply to this post, I wonder if Blizzard has inserted the zero-width spaces intentionally to assist with blocking the creation of links, though I haven't seen these squares in link text using other browsers--only Opera. Yes, the links still do not work, but I can manually copy/paste them without having to edit the link in order for it to be usable.

Yeah, as far as I can tell it is zero-width spacers. But every other browser I have tried can treat it appropriately and ignore them, but Opera messes up. Is there any way to fix this?

So is there any way to fix this or is it just another bug we'll have to deal with while hoping 10.6 fixes it?

Edit:

So 10.60 came out almost immediately after I made this post. So I went and downloaded and installed the upgrade and tested this along with the other bug I've been posting about. And it's still there just as it has been. No change. I'm pretty disappointed and frustrated.
