Perpetual reloading on the Dojo community forum
Well,the title says most of it. On the Dojo Tookit Forum homepage, Opera 10.53 on Mac OS X has a very strange behavior:
- the favicon is constantly flashing between the dojo icon and the half-sheet icon that usually symbolizes a loading page; flashes around 2 or 3 times a second
- the progress bar pops up at the bottom of the page at the same pace
- same thing for the RSS icon in the address bar
- after a certain time (2 or 3 minutes), the page goes blank in the sense that the list of forum topics just vanishes
- I can't scroll the page down... the top of the page keeps coming back
- Opera holds around 15% of the CPU during that time whereas it's usually around 0.5 when not in focus.
Clearly, there's a problem somewhere.
