Word by word selection
Text selection in Opera is letter by letter. Most browsers and editors allow word by word selection, such as IE annd Firefox.Letter by letter selection is not usable at all. Please consider adding "word by word selection" feature to the new version.
Double-click or drag to select the first word — shift click to select the full range of words.

If they did add this feature, I'd hope it was optional. Word by word selection is unusable, I find, as it often selects extra stuff I didn't want it to (IE, for example, automatically selects whitespace after words, which is a pain when copying and pasting passwords and the like from emails).
I support. I think text selection in Opera is very disturbing. It's harder to select a paragraph in Opera than in all other browsers. Additionally, I also think that they should change the cursor to the text cursor when hover over text and speed up cursor switching as it sometimes takes a while for the cursor to switch to a hand when hovering over a hyperlink.
Actually Opera is the easiest: Double click: a word. triple click: a sentence. quad-click: a paragraph.
But beware that there currently is a bug so that you have to click: 2,4 and 6 times.

Using Windows 7 64Bit SP1 and of course Opera
