Yes, yes, I gladly admit that this idea is stolen from Pornzilla project which claims that "Firefox is the best porn browser". I beg to differ so I present to you:
Opera - Naked Joy of Surfing!

Please give feedback on how to improve the article

My favorite is... Middle click on a thumbnail to open the image in a background page\tab. Preferences, Mouse and Keyboard, Middle click options.

Opera is the best for porn hands down!!!!!!!!

IMHO opera [and FF and Maxthon (The case of maxthon only when I visit a "only-IE page")] are the best browsers for all types of pages, not only porn pages (I never visited porn pages so I can't say my experience with these pages using the "no-IE" browsers...)

shows for real which ones actually link to images and which are fakes, so you just Ctrl+select the real ones, and open all in background with one click

even better for movies when they split them into pieces. just select them all and download them all in one click

LOL, loved the "Hands-free browsing part" part

Under the "Keyboard" section, you have both Ctrl + Tab and Shift + Ctrl + Tab as "Cycle to next page". Shouldn't one of them be "Cycle to previous page"?

I second Moose's comment in his logg. One of the worst things about pr0n browsing in IE (*cough* aging pile of carp *cough*) is that pr0n pages keep trying to exploit vulnerabilities so they can install dialer software. Since Opera does not have these vulnerabilities, that makes it one better. I know FF/pr0nzilla has similar security, but I still think it is worth mentioning.

as for searchable history - I second that too. open the history panel and search for 'xxx' - how much faster does it need to be and unlike FF, you can search by URL as well as page title (correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't see any way to search by URL in FF)

If you put this as the discription on download.com and on the opera homepage i bet the number of downloads would go through the roof

I think your right! I've heard some people argue that porn and IM is what fueled the internet trend in the 90's. Seems like every friend and family member I know has at one time asked me where they can get free porn on the internet.

Opera is great for porn browsing using Fast forward. You can just click on the first image in an open directory or thumbnail page and use Fast forward to go to the next image. so you only have to use one hand

and in an opendir / thumbnailpage, just use ctrl+j and type .jpg in the quick search field, select everything and click on quick download to download all images to your HD easyily.

Opera is great at exploiting women for men who cannot handle real-life and resort to fantasy!

Perhaps the slogan could be a little more discreet?

You could mention that one can define downlod directories for every filetype, and opera could download these files to "their" directory without asking you. Great for multipart mpegs and avis in combination with the link panel . Works even for jpegs in links panel

I see that the links in the Links panel are colored in varying shades.

Can anyone tell me what the colors represent?

yeah the color must be it, otheriwse its no different than IE, and he wouldnt have mentioned the link panel as a really good thing.

links panel has icons ...

mpeg video links in the links panel are marked with a special icon (assuming they do not use a redirecting page) - looks like a clapper board

image links are also marked with a special image icon - looks like a reel of film

audio files are marked with a special icon - looks like a CD

I'd call that useful.

oh yeah, and you can search the links panel, like it says in the help file

The Links panel extracts all links in the current Web page so you can easily find images, music, video clips, zip files and other downloads, as well as links to other pages.

Example: Type "mp3" in the "Quick find" field to find all mp3 files on the page.

Tip: Click the "Lock" button to keep the current list of links even if you browse to other pages.

so you can load the thumbnail page, lock the links panel, then click all the image links in it, without losing the links panel contents. like linked windows (did you know Opera could do them either? - look in your window menu [need to enable 'advanced MDI' in opera 7.6])

Boss button? Just use CTRL + H!

I still mean to get FlashGet working in Opera. This is the ONLY reason I sometimes go back to (shock) using IE6. FlashGet is the most amazing program ever - download all full-size images (or files such as mp3s!) from a page of thumbnails in one go! Useful on a range of sites.

Can you explain more about this? How do I avoid not having to go through each link one at a time?

Use ctrl+click and shift+click in the link panel to select several items, then right-click, "save target as" / "quick download".

Opera users love porn. :-D

I think you are one of the large number of people who believe community should be held to their view of the world. Unfortuantely your not yet adult enough, or full of your own self importance to think to think that you have any say on what can and cannot be permitted in a "community".

A community has decied what is legal and is illegal, and beyond that no one is interested in your ethical or moral thoughts on any topic outside of that scope.

If you think its this community's responsibility to limit what a minor can see then perhaps i forgot the role of the parent. Sorry, its the parents reponsibility and certainly not mine nor yours to enforce what "We" believe is appropriate.

I was reading an article on High-Definition TV the other day: the pr0nography industry is being consulted. They've been at the forefront of every technological revolution of the past 20-30 years, too - apparently that's the reason for the 'angle' button on your DVD remote control (well what other possible use could there be? ). Really says something about the society we live in, eh?

Anyway, the article is an amusing read, I may have to pass that onto my IE/FF-loving friends.
