Are you sure that's an extension? I thought it was just a regular speed dial tile.I think there is a speed dial extension missing in the extensions catalog (at least I could not find it): The default Opera Portal.
Once you have it removed, there seems to be no way to get it back.

1) We need a way to deal with comment spam, i could have missed it but i see no way to alert a moderator to spam in the extension reviews. Not only does it skew the ratings, spam makes the whole site look bad (not to mention the possible effect on search engine ranking).
2) It would be nice if you could comment on reviews. At the moment there is no way of responding to a reviewer, except by placing a review (with a rating) of your own. It should be possible to post a comment on a review, just like you can with issues. Being able to post without rating would also be nice.
3) There's no way to get to your extension's public page from "my uploads", it'd make sense if clicking on your extension's rating took you to its public page.

Yeah - annoying problem. Reported few spam reviews in the "Report comment spam here" thread in My Opera: Feedback, questions and discussions forum. Actually even if we had a way to do so; My Opera moderators do not have moderation rights over the Extension Catalog. Support http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=1222152

Even that's not possible any more, that thread is closed now. It says to use the spammer's about page to report the spam but that does not work if his my.opera account has already been deleted (which apparently does not delete the review spam).

That's the main problem right now. I don't see any need for closing the thread.

To be perfectly honest, I have no idea what you just said.If a version is a general public, then it is upgraded automatically.
If a version is under development, then it should be installed different from the general public version.
And the status should be able to be selected by the developer.
Because, sometimes there are bugs what are not found by the developer and the moderators in the published extension. So if you can publish it under development, you can publish for general after only wished users test it.

Thanks, that will get fixed soon. This is really quite minor but there is an error in the Dutch translation of the addons page. Where it says "Geef Opera een nieuwe uiterlijk" (Give Opera a new apperance) above the themes, it should read "Geef Opera een nieuw uiterlijk".

If more information is needed to repeat this error - feel free to contact me.
by including tags, the creator of an extension can get more people to find their extension without having to include all the tags in the name of the extension

I hate to bring this up again, but why exactly is there no way to respond to reviews? It's really quite annoying since many people use them to report issues or make requests, that are currently impossible for the extension builders to respond to.
I post my own review and give myself five stars and basically @reply someone in the review.
Or, I'll private message someone. The downside to this is that no one else benefits from my answer.
Sucks.

Well yeah, but those are annoying and imperfect stopgap measures, especially since you can only post the one review. (yes, you can delete it and post another one but that hides your answer from future readers)

Indeed. They're horrible.
2- Own category for skin and for theme: sometimes i wanna a simple theme, sometimes i wanna change all my Opera.
3- Some kind of notification (by email for example) when someone posts on your skin/theme.
4- Tags for skins/themes: it would help a bit for first case and I would up the accurate about what you are looking for really.

After the UI change the addons page wants descriptions in all languages that are contained in the XML File of the extension. I did just a small change and can't reach some of the translators any more and I for sure can not read without the help of the Google or bing translator what would be written in the comments or issues if it is written in some of the languages (which is not good).
Having to pester the translators who contributed to the extension for every little change is not a 100% viable solution IMHO - especially because the "changes since version XX" section can become quite technical (geek stuff) and doesn't need to be translated to any other language than English.
An option to show that the extension is indeed multi lingual inside but that the addons description page is just in a single language would be welcome.
Compare https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/cleanpages/ and https://addons.opera.com/ru/extensions/details/cleanpages/ and you see what I mean.
(Dear native Russian speakers: The translation on the addons page is not meant as an offense, I can't do it better. The included one is made by a professional)

Add an indicator about the languages the author claims to understand in his profile to the extensions catalog so that users who post comments or issues can see what is likely to be understood by the author.
I occasionally skim the comments for wishes or points the users think I could improve. Having to copy & paste comments that I don't understand to an automatic translator is no fun. Something like "If you want the author to understand you, please post in one of the following languages (foo) too" could help.

Now I would like to see the previous changes of an addon, what should I do? I remember previously links to the addons had the version too, have someone an old link to any addon to see if this way one can see any version?
Also I would like to download a previous version of an addon for testing purpose.
1. Please allow extensions to handle right click mouse events.
2. Add option to enable or disable all extensions in one go
3. Functionality wise opera's extensions are quite primitive when compared to Firefox or chrome. Can something be done here?
4. Allow extension bar to be move around. For example I would like to put my extension bar below the "+" button on the panel bar and it is obviously is in a vertical position. If it can be done manually even today I will still be happy and in this case I request to please provide the solution.
Thanks

I found that many people seek support through the comments section and that is just inefficient for both the users and the developers. This should be highlighted to stop people from posting help questions into the abyss where they will likely go unnoticed for some extensions.
There already is. See the "Reported issues" link next to "Feedback from users"? Oh, right. That link is tiny and doesn't call any attention to itself. Making that link a bit more noticeable would be nice.
Also, developers get email notifications when someone posts a new issue, but not when someone comments on said issue. I constantly miss responses to my comments because I have to manually check through every extension and every issue's comments.

Another annoyance is that you can't close bugs manually (because it's not reproducable, a duplicate or not a bug), while uploading a new version closes all bugs, irrespective of whether they've been fixed or not.
-Add an option to search only for the name of the addon, not in the whole pages.
-Changelog shouldn't be visible only for the latest changes.
-Option to download previously version of an addon for testing purpose.
This last may sound useless, but for me maybe is the most important!
