- Drag&drop files. It's already here in Opera mail, just add JS API
. - Open multiple files not just directory. Still not implemented. (At least I'm getting null on my Win 7 machine.)
- Add a possibility to set a file mask and groups of masks on file loading and saving. So a result on saving could differ depend on selected group. E.g. “*.txt” or “*.html”.
- Allow automatic text copying. May be optional (i.e. user can turn it off).
Not sure if this is the right place post this. Are the widgets for download/install free or is there a fee. I am worried that when I click on the install button I might be committed into paying.
a facebook widget or a tweetdeck one

Personally, I would like a widget that can read common error url links that cannot be linked from another site in the form of "www(dot)somelink(dot)com" or they use brackets like "[dot]" this instead. It would be nice if we could have a widget that can identify these common user ways of making a link by undermining other sites intentions and actually replace the bracket and/or parenthesis with an actual dot. At the same time, not all user made links are made that way, and they also have been known to make url links in this form: "www.some[REMOVE THIS]link.com", and would be also nice if later widget improvements can also make better judgment for those kind of errors too. So instead of having to copy/paste a URL link and go through the inconvenience of deleting/replacing the user-made errors in the links, it would make Opera stand out as a browser more efficient and productive that would quite frankly be seen as more attractive in the sense that users can now have a slight edge of being more efficient at Internet surfing than the rest. And if for some odd reason, the user didn't like the widget feature or the widget causes some slight errors in valid URL links, then that widget can easily be turned off for later improvements in a more hopeful future.
This is just one idea I have that would make my Internet browser more efficient than the rest.

That is a great idea! Sometimes, when you go to certain sites, the browser will allow you to log in; but then, for some reason unknown to me (I'm great with using Macs and PCs, but, I'm not a guy who knows C++, or Javascript) - you cannot enter any text in the fields provided. I tried turning off the pop-up blocker, but it still persists. When that happens, I end up using Safari to get what I need to do finished. Overall, I love Opera - I think that it is cutting edge. I believe that the folks in Oslo will have everything ironed out in the near future, because version 11.50 was a great improvement, over a short period of time. Also, to ronitrex's post - an Opera widget to Spotify, would be even better! Cheers to the programmers at Oslo - may you all rock on!

Widgets are little apps that do not deal with sites directly... What you want is an extension or UserJS script...
I like to see a Widget in which I can see my all social website and email account in a single row. Just like drag and drop.
I wanna a MSN widget

In my mind, Opera widget have to able to work with HTML5 File API. Besides will be a good if widgets are supports Widget Interface in full. I mean preferences as example.
