It would be nice to set bookmarks and the starting page entries so that the page will always open in the single column, or the full page mode, regardless of the the mode setting. This should not affect the mode setting on subsequent pages. ( S40/Java)

Some pages simply do not open well in the single column mode whereas all open reasonably on the full page mode. Because one cannot set full page for the specific pages, the single column becomes almost unusable.

this is my first post here i hope is going to be taken into consideration.
On the next version of operamini, let download break support feature be added so that u can continue from where you stop incase of a power failure.
Uploading is a major problem with operamini 5/6, i hope this to be solved on the oncoming version.
Java script should be included because i can't download from 4shared.com because of countdown time barier.

I wouldn't use the favicon as some have suggested since many are only 16x16. For iOS devices, devs are setting the site icon for Safari's Add to Home Page feature, maybe pull from there. If one isn't set, just use the home page of the site…Just a thought.

Wi-Fi support for Opera Mini J2ME version.
Some of feature phone has Wi-Fi which allow it to access internet without any cellular data enabled, but Opera Mini 6.5 J2ME version always try (or force) to connect to internet via cellular data. While others browser allow user to choose what connection that he/she wants to use at that time (or because they rely on OS to manage connections) like UC browser and Nokia web browser.
I don't know how many of feature phone model that has Wi-Fi, but I'm quite sure that next incoming model of feature phone will has Wi-Fi as a lot of manufactorer trying to make high-end feature phone.

Would be nice to improve play videos, is quite annoying play some video through built-in browser.
For example if i try to play some youtube video through Opera, it starts the built-in browser (you have to click on some link) and then it starts play a video in realplayer.
Please fix it.

Manual sync of Opera Mini bookmark.

6.5 on my Nokia 6300 takes time to load because of auto sync on first website I view, if I disable opera link I don't find the new bookmarks I added. So I'd prefer a bookmark sync that I'll control.

And also please support the mailto: function to Opera Mail account holders since its not all devices that allow email creation via J2ME browsers!

my wishlist:

1.Please make Full Site on Facebook site, twitter, myspace and others.
2.Please adding gif animation/javascript animation features like as loading and wait time when download files.
3.Please adding features show link while press 1 key in text Link and image.
4.Please adding zoom image (20% 40% 80% 100% 150%) features because old zoom image bring to native browser.
5.Please bring HTML 5 in opera mini.

1.PLEASE put a better download manager which allows multiple connections per download to download files extremely fast(6-10 conections would be appropriate),also with a better resume capability so that failed downloads can be resumed, and the paused/queued downloads should not be wiped out at any cost unless the user wishes.Currenly the download manager is crap!

2.Allow other download managers like faster downloads & Turbo download manager to take over downloads from opera mini natively.

3.The pages should be saved externally in a chosen folder in html or any other format (an option would be cool) like in opera mobile.Also put an option to import & export saved pages & bookmarks.

4.Countdowns don't work on sites like 4shared & multiupload, they freeze after a few seconds.Put a refresh option or something please.

5.Put a password manager to choose specific passwords to be cleared instead of everything, its really annoying! »:{

6.Could you also put an option to pause and resume the loading of a page somehow?-useful when loading gigantic pages with images especially when it freezes.

Here's my wishlist (S60) and feedback:

1. IDNA whitelist doesn't contain fi tld-domain, oh why?

2. Some times left marging is completely missing and it requires screen to me scrolled to left constantly to see left most letters. If I stop scrolling to left, half or full first letter of each row is outside screen. It's also very annoying. Mostly this feature occures with mobile Wikipedia.

3. Opera often returns empty pages. Hitting reload several times fixes the problem. But why it's required.

4. If screen orientation has been switched, Opera doesn't recognize touch screen clicks correctly. This is old, but very annoying when you have device which turns screen orientation when using keyboard. One way to deal with this, is opening keyboard and using landscape mode all the time. Which naturally isn't what I want to do.

5. Some times links or page requests and responces are mixed between tabs. That's actually pretty strange. But all pages still are pages that I have visited or have links on pages I have visited, so at least it's not mixing data between users as far as I know. Some times system gets really messed up, when using 10+ tabs and Opera Mini for longer time. After that wrong pages are returned almost every time. Only way to fix that nasty situation is to restart Opera.

6. Opera should have internal PDF reader. It also also should be able to re-wrap text to make it well readable on phone screen. Technically it could preprocess PDF files on server and transfer and present those using Opera Mini's standard transport and UI. It would result as best possible UX. Therefore PDF files should not be any different from any other web-content. Now downloading files and opening those using slow native application isn't user friendly at all.

Also integrating RSS into my.opera would be a burner so to not only have it synced between my diverse installations/platforms but also be able to read feeds from where i left off while i am at some other PC!

I don't know if that was already mentioned but I would very much appreciate to have a master password for the application.
I'm mainly concerned about my security. Imagine that my phone was stolen, in such case thief would have access to all my on-line services, facebook, email and others.
I'm my opinion storing passwords in opera mini is a major security breach. If there would be an option to restrict opera or at least the wand functionality I would be greateful.
