Please post in an appropriate thread - preferably start one of your own. This thread is for reqesting new features.

Loving Opera so far on iOS, would like some tweaks on the Saved Pages function:

- Numbering is off (1, 10, 11, 12...2, 20, 21...)
- Ability to save .gifs
- Organize saved pages to folders

Add feature to sort bookmarks, history by name, date

So, my wishlists for the next next next and the next Opera Mini are:
1. Naming options for speed dials(Opera Mini seems to just use link or the page title for the speed dial)
2. Support for .GIF animations
3. Reopen closed tabs(or recently closed tabs)
4. Renaming for files(and images) before downloading something
5. Custom zoom feature
6. Support for Javascript even after the page is fully loaded, along with the button to turn it on and off in settings.
7. "Very Small" option for font sizes
8. Refresh thumbnails at the start page
9. "Sort by .." in Bookmarks, Saved Pages, and History.
10. Shortcut to stop the page loading. Can be especially useful for phones that don't appear to have the stop button.
11. Automatic bug reporting function
12. Separating of the "Image Quality" to "Image Quality" and "Image Size" in settings, or either change High in Image Quality to Very High and add a different High(meaning to add the image quality between medium and high).
13. Things like "Save this session" and "Restore previous session". Perhaps this is impossible for older phone Operating Systems, but maybe for Androids?
14. "Data Usage" position could be better placed in the menu list, because I think most people don't even touch the "Help" menu.
15. Skins, either customizeable(colors maybe?) or like the previous versions.
16. Page-Top and Page-Bottom shortcut
17. Improved Download manager

I know I'm being super greedy right here, and I know programming is very hard(atleast to me), but it would be great if all those above features is on the Opera Mini overtime.

when i click 0 button twice do a network test. With this will be great. In main menu is many icons near options. Please give main menu without icons (just like on 4.4) in non-touch screens phones. There are no reason to doing a main menu with icons on non-touch screens phones. Sorry for bed English, I'm Pole.

Sometimes we need Wiew very important information and long information from list. OM 6.5 doesn't Wiew all long text. You must add in 7.0 a full screen list view like in 4.4. This will be helpful. Add 'search/find' option in these type of Dropdown Menu, bcoz most of times, they have a very long list.. Example- list of all cities names in a country, list of all timezones from the world along with country names etc

these type of Dropdown Menu mainly comes when filling in online forms, profile, selecting our city & timezone

yeah, add true resume support in download manager, so that when reopening Opera mini, we can get paused downloads resumed from the place where it is paused, rather than from starting point..

Integrating with iOS applications when downloading a file instead of opening safari...

There are 2 defunct buttons on Opera Mini 6 and 6.5 that are a massive waste of space, so:
Add a feature that allows you to resize the control buttons (this would allow the users to see more of the websites they're viewing instead of a large chunk of the screen being wasted by buttons you're not using).
Have an option to "hide" the control buttons - a bit like the option the Dolphin browser offers. This would offer us a larger screen to view websites with.
Get rid of the defunct buttons or give them a use - don't just put in opaque grey buttons that do nothing except hide what you're trying to look at.

Opera Mini 6.0 was a good browser except for the large amount of screen space lost to the control buttons (the defunct ones in particular) - there's no point buying a phone with a big screen if the browser effectively shrinks your screen that much. :/

Also, the ability to "copy & paste" partial text instead of only being able to one full piece of text into a text-box would be useful.

For Opera Mini 6.5 on the Samsung Monte in particular - make it so it doesn't crash after viewing one page!
6.0 worked fine on my phone but 6.5 deleted my working version and I've had to downgrade to 4.4 (which I don't like) and 6.5 is totally unusable.

And please DON'T have upgrades automatically delete/replace the old version on users phones - because, if the new version doesn't work, they are stuck with having to downgrade by a lot, or stuck with no working version available, because you don't host the old working versions. I'm stuck with this problem and no longer have the use of ANY of the features I used Opera for. I'm currently looking for a different browser as Opera no longer meets my needs, but it could if it hosted the old version (6.0) or if it allowed you to save the file direct to mobile (no PC connection).

Also - don't require the webpage to automatically refresh every time you type something into a text box - it makes filling in forms very time consuming. It's a waste of time and data and you have to confirm your actions far too many times. You should be able to fill in each field on the entire page, without the page refreshing, so all data is sent at once (and that would save on bandwidth). The same applies to drop-down menus such and multiple-choice boxes in forms. You also shouldn't have to submit forms twice every time - which I believe you have to do because of this automatic refresh. As it stands - if you don't submit the form twice, it doesn't get submitted.

Some feature phones have a special volume keys. When i push up go to top of page. And when i push down go to end of page. And have a camera button (like on my Sony Ericsson k770i) when i push this button save a page to image. With this three functionality will be great!

on main page a weather info about weather details for my city. Like on a android. Weather for today, tommorrow and after tomorrow.

on java phones add please opening downloaded files via download manager like in 7.0 on android.

when i click on download i have a download window. When i click music, save to music folder on memory card. Ever saving on memory card! Give setting who can set default destiny of file. Memory card or phone memory.

make operamini 7 support .gif images and able to pause a download, close opera, open later and continue download.

agree with this, opera mini should include this feature, make it optional in settings.. Opera mini should auto disconnect net conn. if there is no page request or reload for 30 sec/1 min/1min 30sec/ 2 min.. Its necessary bcoz while reading long page for 3-4 mins, battery gets drained by active net connection which we don't need while page reading

Opera Mini only connects to the internet when requested to do so by you. Are you constantly running Opera Link on your Opera Mini copy? Because leaving Opera Link on will cause constant internet connections to the Opera Link server.

I leave Opera Link off on my copy of Opera Mini until I actually need to connect to the Opera Link server to do some synchronizing of my bookmarks to the Opera Link server.

We (opera users) keep on giving comments suggestion to opera not considering user points and request they do only what they pre determined
the same way in the updates also every time while seeing updates users gets disappointed (means not a big feature in opera)
why should not we waste our golden time with opera

on java, when i conect Opera Mini with facebook let's se only new statuses (not viewed). Give full rss sync like on a Android (gmail) between computer .

edit names of speed dial elements.

make it compatible with lower end of java market like my phone the samsung chat 222 model e2220 and for ya opera mini phone detection to recognise my phone correctly
