Browser comparison page
[url]http://www.opera.com/products/desktop/compare/I'll be blunt - this page is not convincing at all. That "browser 1" and "browser 2" thing is laughable. As a person familiar with browsers, I can tell that they refer to IE and Firefox, but how would the regular person see it? For all they know, you could be comparing Opera to some outdated browser (which isn't the case for at least Firefox).

A third-party browser comparison site can very well name the browsers by virtue of being unaffiliated with any of the products being discussed. However Opera's own such pages are probably not allowed to, legally.

Did not know that....doesn't apply to anything I do but I find it interesting none the less.

People tend to feel that such advertising is somewhat rude - even a bit patronizing. You always risk to ruin your own reputation, when making use of comparative advertising.
