Ability to easily change site specific preferences like you can on the desktop without going to overrides.ini (userjs, usercss, useragent, etc).
Ability to block content like images easily.
Ability to add in search engines without having to use opera link (via a file like search.ini on the desktop but for opera mobile)
Able to add more than 9 speed dials with a horizontal sliding speed dial like User Interface with 9 or so on each page (similar to the home screens on android). Maybe some ability to label what each speed dial page is for organization purposes.
Better widget and extension integration/access from within opera mobile.
Toggle for switching between other browser user agents instead of changing the user agent text in opera:config (like the stock android browser)
User interface for editing and reading opera notes (no idea how to see them right now, since they don't seem to be under bookmarks)
Phone2Chrome like abilities built into opera link to open pages on the phone or desktop with a click of a button in either.

and perhaps an option to move the cache to sd with a simple menu setting, instead of having to dig through opera:config
- instant back/forward like opera mini
- no need to tap the 'x' button twice to close a tap
- exit menu with option to clear cache when exit
- can download videos after playing. Not from youtube but from other websites ie. vuclip.com . Opera mini for instance, can play videos and download as well.
Almost every single feature which made the desktop product great, simply lacks in the android counterparts.
Extremely bad with opera.
Custom searches? NO.
Configurability? NO.
Import at least of bookmarks from file? NO.
Great M2 email client? NO NO NO
I am simply disappointed by this average browsing experience, sorry Opera Mobile devs.
Don't get me wrong, I use the desktop version exclusively for 15 year and absolutely love it. But I had to say this.

I tried hold pressing on a search bar for a site, didnt work http://www.allaboutbirds.org/Page.aspx?pid=1189
From trying others, it seems hit or miss and if it's a miss, you're out of luck since you can't manually add any.
It would be far easier if they just let us add them manually in a search.ini file like on the desktop (file doesnt exist or work if you copy it over)
2) OFFER FUNCTIONALITY OF MOBILE SITES: The m.google.com search page looks lovely, colorful, smart on the default Android browser. On Opera Mobile it's ugly, just plain text, no 'search as I type', etc. Don't get me started on Google Image Search which loses all the lovely 'swipe' functionality it has on the Android browser. Same formatting issues for Facebook touch version. Fugly.
3) KEYBOARD ISSUES: When I type a username, the keyboard should have the [Next] key showing so I can move to the password. Instead it shows [Done] only. Then when I enter the password it should have the [Go] key showing. Instead it just shows [Done], which just closes the keyboard but doesn't send the login. Similarly when entering URLs, it should have [Go] to fetch the URL. All other browsers do this.
4) BOOKMARKLET SUPPORT: LastPass is a great password manager, and even allows browsers like Dolphin or Android to use 'bookmarklets'. I save a JavaScript bookmark, and when I am at another site's login page, I 'open' the bookmarklet, and it finds my username and password from LastPass then logs me in. Magical! D'oh - Opera completely ignores it and gives an error message.

open extra tab
go to overview of tabs
go to bookmarks
go to history
Probably only on (menu) part of the screen, to prevent clashes with page touchevents.
Opera UI for tabs is better than default browser, but I like Firefox's for handling tabs the most, better overview easier to access
:: Links to youtube and android market open in their specific apps.
:: Option to only show the Android status bar when scrolled to the top of a page, the same way the address/search bar currently works. At the moment the status bar is either either always on or always off.
:: Easy way of changing user agent, and also the option to set a different user agent for certain sites.
:: Change default search permanently (mine always reverts to google.com after opera exits)
Also, like the poster above me, I really like Firefox mobile's tabs on the side bar, which can be swiped in and out of view. You should definitely do something similar.

I would also like to see password sync from Opera-link and the ability to spoof as a desktop browser (again Honeycomb webkit browser can do this and it's VERY useful, for those sites that still think because the UA says Android, you must therefore be a mobile phone).
2) Open videos in the YouTube app not browser Flash!
3) Default to viewing pages CORRECTLY as the Android browser user-agent
4) When typing allow the [Go] keyboard button to appear
5) Stop the random freezes
6) Data/cache should use SD card, not fill up 12MB of my internal RAM (Nexus One)
Inverting these (almost any of them using white background + black foregroud color) allow me to read more, better for my eyes.
So i think "invert colors" would be a great feature

Other browsers (like Dolphin HD) has this feature, and it makes searching a lot faster as I don't type that fast on my mobile.
That said I'm staying with Opera for now because it's text wrapping function is far superior to its rivals.
I mean, simple configurability is a joke compared to runners up like Miren, xScope etc.
But most annoyingly, you forgot the *single* most important feature of a mobile phone browser (which makes me use other browsers on Android approx. 75% of the time, although I am a dedicated Opera user on Linux desktop and Windows since the very beginning!) and which *all* of the others have:
LET ME CHANGE THE USER AGENT STRING!
I simply cannot believe that none of the devs never comes across a site where the mobile version is ugly, unusable or simply disfunctional (that's true for a good quarter of all mobile site versions in my personal book!) - and courtesy of said "feature" one is simply doomed and stuck when using Opera. I simply cannot understand it...
Some other important points (where Opera also excelled on the desktop and for some reason *completely* blows on mobiles...)
1. much better/simpler/quicker way to switch tabs (compare - well, nearly ALL other browsers on Android...)
2. performance/rendering speed (compare Miren! especially when pressing "back" - AWEsome!)
3. more easily open links in background w/o having to click twice (I.e. no context menu) (compare Miren!)
4. *real* fullscreen mode (no Android taskbar, browser bar only on demand - compare Miren!)
5. as said before - more complete configuration w/o having to ressort to opera:config (compare most of the others...)
6. text selection (compare iOS - there is no browser on Android that really handles this well... Opera is in fact one of the better ones, but still...
7. quicker startup (compare Miren!)
8. gestures!!!!
9. rendering! e.g. I just noticed a few minutes ago that Opera Mobile can't correctly display the forum signup form on opera.com (!) - the captcha image obscures the input field, effectively preventing the user from entering the captcha - on Opera's own homepage, that is...
The only reason why I'm not using Miren exclusively and dumping Opera mobile completely, are some *severe* issues with textareas/-fields which are wider than the screen - here Opera is the *only * one right now doing this sensibly and user friendly, namely by creating its own overlay (which always is as wide as the screen at max) when the keyboard is brought up.
all others scroll the page or - even worse (Miren...) - jump around erratically... thus I use Opera for longer inputs.
And also, text selection is completely broken on Miren, though Opera Mobile is also less than optimal here...
That's all I can think of at the moment, but I'm sure there's a bunch more...
If you are not more agile and responsive, dear Opera devs, some runner up will soon steal your show.
Sorry to say this, but as soon as Miren resolves the issues outlined above, it will mop up the floor with your browser...
I'm still convinced that Opera is the very best on the desktop - so get your act together and take the unique features from there and take it over to Mobile!

2: i wonder what kind of device you have, i see no problems here.
4: already there if you use a phone, although it would be nice if you could do that on a tablet too.

I concur, my nandroid backup totally f*ckedUp because of opera mobile cache sucking alll phone flash memory.
Attention to all personel REMOVE OPERA MOBILE BEFORE NANDROID BACKUP!!!! And clean all your caches.
Just a joke, opera mobile: all your flash memory belongs to us.
1 and only. Please move user data\cache to sd card. Though Opera itself perfectly lands on external storage the data files soon after setting Opera LInk etc grow up to enormous 20mb. Unacceptable on such devices like mine HTC Desire (and many more).

1. More speeddials. When you're using Opera link, you don't get all of the things you want. Specially on Android Tablets.

opera mobile is much faster than android's stock browser... but it's a shame no one on the web programs for it...
i solve this by changing opera's user agent to android browser's.... works most of the time, but some sites are messed up
(a lot of other browsers have this feature)

I'm using Opera Mobile on Asus EeePad-Transformer with docking.
It has already the feature to save pages, for reading them later offline.
I would like to have:
1. RSS-/Atom-Feed support
2. Possibility to download whole webpages linked in all feeds, for reading them later offline
PS: I just don't like Google-Reader, or any RSS-apps supporting only Google-Reader ^^
