Ed Shultz who has an early prime time program on MSNBC is one of the very few on the liberal left side that has a successful talk radio program. He got into it with Ernest Istook who is now with the Heritage foundation over employers in relation to the health care bill. In this radio face off, Mr. Shultz responded in the way that has become practically the signature of the liberal left. He responded by denying the claims made to him without any evidence for back up. He had no facts and kept telling Mr. Istook he was wrong. Mr. Istook responded with facts which made Mr. Shultz look like he had been devoid of intelligence. As a critic from the loyal opposition, the only talk radio program on the liberal left side that has my ear on a regular basis is the local Philly urban talk radio station in the morning. Once and a while, I also try to catch Independent Lew Dobbs and Libertarian Neal Boortz who I have warmed up to a little bit. I listen mostly to right wing conservatives. But I listen less these days to the big conservative talkers like Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham and Sean Hannity. I listen mostly to conservative right wing talkers who have Internet based radio programs such as Rod Eccles, Willie Lawson, Kevin Jackson and Mad Irishman, Sheridan Folger. I also listen to local based talkers that can be heard through streaming like James T. Harris of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
I am now trying to listen to a local based conservative talker Lisa Fritsch out of Austin, Texas when I can get a chance. I first learned about her when she appeared on Glenn Becks's TV program about black conservatives. Ms. Fritsch is on 10:00 a.m. central (for me thats 11:00 a.m.) Monday through Friday for only an hour. From what I have heard so far, she definitely deserves another hour of talk time. I am really enjoying my personal discoveries of conservative radio talkers.

A Teen Experiences Sharia Lashings Sixteen years old Silva Kashif of Khartoum in the Sudan was given 50 lashes for wearing a knee length skirt, which was deemed indecent. She was picked up by police, given a kangaroo court style trial and sentenced to 50 lashes, which were immediately carried out. Her parents found out after everything was carried out. This teen girl is a Christian and underage according to the laws for lashing. It appears her situation was out of bounds even for Sharia Law, but Silva and her family are considered infidels under Sharia. Thus, her treatment may receive some kind of justification.
The fact that Silva is a Christian is a strong indication as to why she received that awful treatment. And to think, there are non Muslim people in the Obama administration that are pro Sharia like Legal Counsel, Harold Koh who sees no problem in instituting Sharia Law in this country! This is So Wrong Who as yet to realize Vermont is just about the most liberal leftist state in this country? Judge William Cohen in Vermont is obviously legislating culture in his decision to order the birth mother to give up custody of her daughter to her former lesbian partner. Is the judge activist type doing his part to push the culture? Miller conceived her daughter through artificial insemination while she was in a civil union with Janet Jenkins. Lisa Miller has left the homosexual lifestyle. Janet Jenkins has no biological tie to the child, but Jenkins sued for custody and has won.
Ms. Miller has regretted certain actions she took while in the relationship with Ms. Jenkins. She also stopped complying with the court ordered visitation when her daughter did not want to spend anytime with Janet Jenkins. Lisa Miller is appealing the decision with the legal assistance of Matthew Staver, chairmen of the Christian, Liberty Counsel. This court is really stepping out of bounds in taking custody away from the biological mother and handing the daughter over to a third party. Read more here.

This movement for Happy Holidays to replace Merry Christmas grows more ridiculous every year.

Folks are quick to point to Republicans for being a racist party, but fail to do any checking on the Democrat Party in their historical contributions to racism. I have gone back and forth in chatrooms and other kinds of online forums about the past behaviors of both political parties when it comes to black people. Many blacks just put up some enormous mental blocking object when it comes to facing the Democrat Party's racist past. See one of my previous posts that featured a video on this subject.

Why can't people be critical of actions without the personal attacks? I have been getting into it on Facebook and blogs with those who are going after the First Lady Michelle Obama and former Alaskan governor, Sarah Palin. The maturity level from the comments are about 12 years old. I just do not understand this. It is crazy how people people try to validate their nasty personal attacks on both these women.
It is okay to be critical of their actions as it relates to policy and politics, but to get into personal appearances and defame them with comparisons to animals, using sexual derivative labels, and profanity is more than pathetic coming from grown people. The Christians who make these comments! Well I just do not know. Don't they feel any kind of spiritual conviction? Are they sounding off like this in front of their children? Do they care about the example they are projecting?
I ended my Saturday blog post with the announcement of the Manhattan Declaration. This Chuck Colson video is before the Declaration press conference, but it is still worth a listen.
