Nobel Peace Prize!

In all honesty, I can't understand why Pres. Obama recieved the Nobel Peace Prize! What has he done? He recieved the nomination within two weeks after his inauguration. Even far left Professor, Dr. Marc Lamont Hill questioned this honor on Bill O'Reilly's program. Some say it helps to return our great standing in the world that was deeply tarnished by George Walker Bush. I am not so moved by that. I am constantly hearing from those solidly behind the President to give him a chance. The Nobel Peace Prize committee should have given Pres. Obama the chance to really do something before they even thought about giving him such an honor.

Attempts to Keep the Federal Government From Paying For Abortion On Demand

Democrat Leadership is not interested in keeping abortion from being federally funded in the health care bill. Rep. Doug Lamborn, R-Colo., and 182 other congressmen want to be able to vote on an amendment to directly exclude abortion funding from any health-care proposals. Currently the Hyde Amendment prohibits taxpayer money from paying for most abortions. If the current health care bill becomes law, it will supersede the Hyde Amendment and our government will be in the business of providing free abortions. Read more here.

Completely agree with the peace prize assessment. He was being made fun of of Jimmie Kimmel show last night saying that his accomplishments were 0 and his role in peace keeping so far is 0. The man should decline the Nobel.

The Nobel Committee has lost all credibility with this decision. I agree, Linda. If Obama has one iota of integrity, he'll decline the award.

I still think he nominated himself, too. It is exactly his style.
