Sarah Palin drives most folks on the left to pure distraction. Michele Bachman who is a conservative Republican and represents the congressional 6th district of Minnesota has her share of growing detractors on the left too! I like Sarah Palin, but Rep. Rep. Bachman rates a little higher with me. Listen to her on a bill by By Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass, 4th congressional district) that is worse than universal health care and Cap and Trade. Rep. Barney Frank's financial services takeover bill is not getting much publicity (and it should).
This bill as law would give the President undo financial decision making. It would go beyond the checks and balances between the legislative and the executive branches of government. It would allow the government the authority to undertake massive takeovers of businesses i.e. the President would have lone authority to decide on spending for bailouts with out congressional approval.
Some pro Obama folks would probably be okay with this bill, but Barack Obama is not going to be president for life. The Democrats will not always be in charge. After all, we do go in cycles with the political parties being in power. To all partisans on all sides of the political kaleidescope think about when your person/party is not in power and the president of the opposing party gets this increased power. This bill should be opposed regardless of political persuasion.
Here are a few controversial aspects to consider about the unveiled health care bill:
Raises Taxes on Middle Class Families - Up to 2.5 of individual taxpayer income earning as little as $9,350.
Massive Medicare Cuts to Seniors - Cuts hundreds of billions of dollars.
No Small Business Protection - Does not exempt small businesses from 8% "pay or play" employer mandate. Democrat leaders said it would.
Budget-Busting Cost Cleverly Hidden as the Debt Increases for Future Generations - Not deficit neutral as promoted by Democrat leaders. Costly provisions have been swept under the rug, including the $245 billion 'doc fix.'
Government-Run Insurance is the End All. Private Insurance Will Be a Thing of the Past by 2012 - Page 94 of the House Health Care Bill prohibits the sale of private health care plans after Dec 31, 2012. This will trigger job losts in the millions.
The End Of Life Counseling Also Known as Death Panels is Back in Place - Just think a government program telling you when to pull the plug on an elderly loved one.

Armstrong Williams Questions The Scarcity of Results From the Tarp and StimulusCheck out amstrongwilliams.com
Go here to read a pro stimulus blog post from earlier this year by Robert Reich who was the Labor Secretary under former Pres. Bill Clinton. Those who support Pres. Obama without question should be doing some serious pondering after hearing Armstrong Williams' questions with added assistance in realizing what did not happen with the stimulus inadvertently through Robert Reich.
The Real Result of the Economic StimulusScott Stantis Cartoon The economic stimulus is nothing but a huge debt being fed to the next generations. The responsibility to pay all this money back falls on generations to come.
Do you think Pres. Obama picked some rather odd people to be part of his administration? How about the czars? Let's take a brief look at four of them:
Cass Sunstein the Regulatory Czar believes that animals ought to be able to sue with human representation in court. Read more about that here. He believes that the President and those in his administration should be interpreting federal law, not judges. He is against that aspect of our constitutional checks and balances. Mr. Sunsteins asked,
"Why is the executive not permitted to construe constitutional ambiguities as it sees fit?" asks Sunstein. "The simplest answer is that foxes are not permitted to guard henhouses ... but who is the fox?"
Mr. Sunstein believes there should be a new bill of rights. The rights he feels people should have can only be found in utopia. In reality, we know there is no such place on earth. Besides who pays for all services related to the rights for everyoner? Read all about presidential interpretation and his new bill of rights here.
UPDATE: Cass Sunstein says, Government must fund abortion. He declares 'no problem' forcing taxpayers with religious, moral conflict.
From what the Science Czar Dr. John Holdren has written, it so strongly appears that he is an eugenicist. He stated in a textbook that he is for government mandated green abortions. Dr. Holdren feels this is constitutionally acceptable. He is for population control for the sake of the environment/planet. For Dr. Holdren, as far as the 14th amendment is concerned, the fetus is a non person. He is also for sterilizing welfare recipients. He is a firm believer in health care covering the costs of abortions.
For more, you can go to this link which I have already shared with my Facebook friends. Dr. Holdren has also written that the traditional family is outdated and that large families should be punished. Read more about that here.
Mark Lloyd the Diversity FCC Czar praises marxist Hugo Chavez and feels that whites should step down and let blacks, gays and "other people" have the power. He makes a lot of controversial statements like that. Many are likening Mr. Lloyd to the former Green Czar Van Jones in the sense that they are both very friendly to marxism.
Mr. Lloyd strongly desires to changes things in the media. As far as the 1st Amendment is concerned, Ponder Mr. Lloyd 's quote:
“It should be clear by now that my focus here is not freedom of speech or the press. This freedom is all too often an exaggeration. At the very least, blind references to freedom of speech or the press serve as a distraction from the critical examination of other communications policies.”
Kevin Jennings the Safe Schools Czar is a former teacher who founded the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education. Network (GLSEN). He has personally used the "safety" concept in the advocacy of homosexuality in the public schools. You can read more about that here. In dealing with his homosexuality, Mr. Jennings feels that God failed him. He thoroughly dislikes anyone who gives recognition to God.
In the past he has promoted homosexual conferences under his GLSEN. Teenagers at these conferences learned in extremely graphic detail about all the mechanics and variations of homosexual love making. Go here for additional information on Kevin Jennings.
Did you know that legislation was introduced to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) which defines marriage as between a man and a woman and and it keeps states from recognizing alternate definitions. DOMA came into effect under former Pres. Clinton? Some folks in Congress view it as discriminatory and want to repeal it with the Respect for Marriage Act. As far as I am concerned marriage is exclusively between a man and a woman. And Of course I am coming from a biblical perspective! See this.
Rep Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.)is the lead sponsor of the Respect for Marriage Act. This repeal also has 91 co-sponsors. The nation's leading LGBT (Lesbians, Gays, bisexuals, transexuals), civil rights activists and legislators have been planning and organizing for months on this repeal.
The Respect for Marriage Act would define marriage in more inclusive terms. but would not tell states how married couples must be treated for purposes of state law. This legislation would not force people, churches, cities or states to celebrate or license a marriage of two people of the same sex. But really, this is just another effort of the LGBT's galvanized struggle to force same-sex marriage into every state. Read more here.
I wonder who in the Obama administration finally told Van Jones to get going (even though there are denials to such)! His previous negative/disgusting comments about white kids at Columbine, Republicans and his truther actions were ridiculous. Pres. Obama had ran a presidential campaign that was so finely tuned that he received accolades from the Republican opposition. When it comes to vetting folks, that successful brain power that was behind the campaigning is practically nowhere to be found. How did they come up with Van Jones to be the environmentally green czar? He really needed to go and he is gone.
When the White House issued a statement backing Mr. Jones, I knew it was just a matter of time before he he would be gone. Remember former Pres. Bush and Michael Brown with the handling of Katrina? Bush said he was doing a good job and a short time later, Michael Brown was gone. Van Jones went faster after the White House support statement than Mr. Brown!
Listen to this Democrat Congresswoman Diane Watson from California. From out of her mouth I hear a voice that has a warm tone and cadence. I also hear profound ignorance. Since I put my identification in Christ above my ethnicity, The "looks like me" statement and the emotion behind it does not have a hold on me as it has on many blacks.
This is an elected offical! And to think there was a time when I would have voted for someone like her! Well, I would have done that when I was young and gullible in the 1970s, but in the 80s from then on as a liberal Democrat, I would not have voted for someone who openly praised Communism. That use to really anger me to see Democrats and liberals being likened to Communists. But now we hear this Democrat and sadly there are more like her (Yes I was in denial about some Democrats being influenced by communism).
Does the Lennin term, Useful Idiots apply? Didn't you just love Rep. Watson's praise of Fidel Castro and the Cuban univeral health care! She praised Communism! Fidel Castro is guilty of taking away rights of Cubans that we take for granted. Read about such things here, here, here and specifically the infamous firing squad.
The Democrat Congressional leaders see themselves as going into the lion's den in facing angry constituents at these health care town halls. All the yelling and the screaming! The discourse at these town hall meetings could be more civil, but I do understand the constituent anger.
Now despite what you have seen of the Philly town hall with Sen. Arlen Specter, there is Philly area constituent support for this health care bill. These liberal types feel this is what a Democrat administration should be doing. I have heard a few folks from the supporting crowd actually sing, “We are gona get free health care.” But do these folks really know and understand what is in this health care bill?
You can view the current voluminous health care bill here. One can see why there needs to be a designated time for our congressional leaders to read and understand a bill before voting on it. Many House Representatives voted for this bill and did not read it.
Here are a few very troubling provisions of the bill that should motivate you to take a deeper look:
Your choice is gone, because a government committee will decide what treatments and benefits you get - PG 30, Sec 123
Dictates the benefits packages of all private health insurance plans - PG 84 Sec 203
Rationed health care for the elderly PG 29, Lines 4-16
Health care rationing - limits what private insurers can offer - PG 85, Line 7
Requires all employers to enroll all new employees in the government system (no choice whatsoever) PG 145, Line 15-17 So if you get laid off of your current job and/or go to a new job, guess what?
Employers must independently provide insurance for part-time workers whether they can afford it or not (no choice) - PG 126, Lines 22-25
Penalties and fines will be levied on private hospitals for readmissions after initial treatment (If something goes wrong, what are the chances of the problem being corrected) - PG 298, Lines 9-11
Rationing of cancer treatment! The government decides whether it is worth the bother - PG 272, Sec. 1145
"Advanced care consultation" is government ordered end of life plans - PG 429, Lines 10-12
The federal government can dictate which doctors can write an end of life order - Pg 429, Lines 13-25
There is much more. Even if you are a part of the crowd that I have heard singing, “We getting universal health care,” the aforementioned ought to scare the living daylights out of you. And don’t think this bill does not affect you if you have good health care benefits in your current job. You can read about more provisions in Horrors in the health care bill.
