A Musical End to the Long Holiday Weekend

Video, America the Beautiful, Independence Day Holiday Weekend, Star Spangled Banner ...

Since this is the last day of the long Independence Day holiday weekend celebration, let us end the celebration with some more music by Ray Charles and another rendition of the National Anthem by Whitney Houston.

The renditions of the National Anthem by Sandi Patty and Whitney Houston are my all time favorites.

Happy Father's Day! The music selections are favorites of my Father who loved the hymns and strong quality singing voices.

Proverbs 20:7

The righteous man walks in his integrity;
His children are blessed after him.

My father is with the Lord and is profoundly missed. I think of things like how he would have probably had a tear running down his face when Pres. Obama was elected. We would of had our friendly pro/con debates on his presidency. Oh how I missed those debates we use to have! While working in child care, I saw that the wonderful father I had was no longer the norm. I was truly blessed.
